I wasn't sure which section to post this MOD\DYI in but this one seemed to fit the best. For you T3's owners, here are a few ways to expand the charging options in your Treg and extend the USB and AUX connections outside of your glove box.

Thanks for the comments.

The MOD took just over four hours to complete. I had to completely take out the glove box to drill the three holes. You do that by removing the passenger side fuse panel cover, removing the light inside the glove box, removing several screws from the underside of the glove box and footwell area (I believe there were ten total), detaching the air hose for the glove box cooler, removing the MDI connector and finally unplugging all the cables attached to the radio control module.

I used hole saw bits to drill the holes for the USB charge port, cigarette lighter power socket and cable pass thru grommet. I combined the red wires and black wires of the USB charge port and cigarette lighter power socket together, then one red wire w/inline fuse to the fuse panel using a dual fuse circuit tap and one black to ground on frame.

I removed what I refer to as the "coin" holder and drilled a hole using the hole saw bit for the USB\AUX input jack. I fished the wire down the side and into the glove box. I did the same for the center console lighting USB cable and the lighting USB cable coming from the iPhone holder. I did need a molding removal tool to pass the usb plug underneath the vent and into the glove box.

Here are the parts I used if interested.

Poly-Planar Panel Mount USBx2 Charge Port 12V
12V 120W Car Motorcycle Motorbike Boat Cigarette Lighter Power Socket 60cm Plug
ASA Electronics JENAUX USB/AUX Audio Input Jack
ProClip iPhone 5/5s Adjustable Charging Holder with Tilt Swivel and Lighting USB cable
6ft Black Lightining USB Cable
1 1/2in Plastic Desk Grommet w/cover used as cable pass-thru
Dual Fuse Circuit Tap
Techflex Split Cable Sleeve (to dress up all the wires)

Yeah, I was thinking of installing the Poly-Planar Panel Mount USBx2 Charge Port 12V
in the armrest but I did not know what all would be involved to get that accomplished so I opted to run a 6ft lighting cable from the center console\armrest over to the glove box...that took about ten minutes.
