nope. its a fixed rear mount on my trailswing tire carrier. Maybe just the angle of the photos makes it look different?

 

Nice ride! Share what you’ve done please. Lift obviously, but tires and anything else? How did it perform

 

Thank you! I didn't do much snow trial driving, I was with my wife and she was nervous enough just driving in the snow.

Our 2013 TDI has done very well snow wheeling. Totally stock with only body protection added. 'Lift Kit' not wanted or needed. Running 255/55/18 studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta's. On one adventure we went up to the frozen Arctic Ocean at Tuktoyaktuk. Day prior had fun ice racing on the frozen Yukon River at Dawson City. These are very capable vehicles.
