Hey everyone, I recently did the R-Line steering wheel mod so I'm selling my original heated steering wheel (7P6419091ANGB) and new OEM airbag (7P6880201K81U).

I'm looking for $500 + shipping.

Used heated steering wheels are going for around $200+ and used airbags are going for around $350+ on eBay. Brand new from the dealer, you are approaching $2k for both.

This steering wheel came off my 2011 Hybrid and the new OEM airbag came with the R-Line steering wheel that I bought. I decided to use the original airbag when I did the mod, so I'm selling the new airbag with my old steering wheel (works perfectly but has a few minor scuffs - see photos).

I will ship via UPS ground (depending on final location) and will accept PayPal (or cash for local buyer). I'm located in Chicago, so I don't mind meeting up to complete the sale.

If I don't get a fellow ClubTouareg member to sell this to, I'll end up listing on eBay.

Feel free to ask any questions, thanks for looking!

Just curious, did you want the r-line steering wheel just for the paddle shifters?
Yep, wanted the R-Line wheel just for the paddles. The Hybrid has more hp and torque than the R-Line, so it's a shame it never came with paddles from the factory. Overall I'm happy with the steering wheel conversion.

my current 2013 does not have the heated steering wheel....is it plug and play where the option comes up in the a/c menu?
Does your T-Reg have the button for the heated steering wheel next to the emergency lights button on center console, or do you see the heated wheel option in the climate control screen? I would imagine that if you have either of these it should be a simple plug and play for the new heated wheel and no need to reprogram. I believe once you connect the new heated wheel, pushing the heated wheel button, it should work. It's fairly easy to take out the wheel and plug the new connector in. I believe I took some photos of my install that I can share if needed but another member on the forum has a great write-up as well of what to expect with a wheel swap if you can find it.

The wires for the heater don't exist if your Touareg didn't come with it. Not a difficult job to run them. There's no button in the climate control or on the dash if you don't have one either. That's the button that needs to be turned on with VCDS in the climate control screen. Pretty straight forward also. If you're not into doing that stuff yourself any VW specialist mechanic should have no problem doing it.

My 2014 r-line actually did not come with the paddles, but appears to be an r-line steering wheel (badges). Thinking the paddles must have been a euro option only for the r-line?
