I recently had the recalls in the most recent campaign done on my 05 v8. This morning, I had the system fault workshop message in the MFI. It hasn't gone away in three starts. The voltage guage has been rock steady on 14 since the day I bought it. I'm taking it back to the dealer who performed the recall fixes this week and will post what the cause was.

I'm guessing they didn't replace the alternator cable correctly.

From experience even some cable replacements still needed another part replaced. Also an air compressor rebuild recall can cause the workshop fault.
Mine too went away with a re start....once the compressor kept running longer and longer it was on the mfi more often than not.

That's the thing, it did NOT go away until the FIFTH restart. And it reappeared this morning. I drove a bit to warm everything up, shut down, and 10 minutes later, restarted. Error still there. It's going to the shop today. I'll keep you posted.
