I'm going to apply new lock-tite on them. They have that thick, plastic-y type factory-applied blue thread locker on them, which would not function as thread-lock a second time. I think this is why they are single-use - they do not appear to be torque-to-yield type. I do not recommend this - but it's what I will do.

The car is still not moving I really need to find the correct stack-up of washer, spacer, cone-shaped friction doo-hickey on the passenger wiper arm. More clicking and searching before I make a second attempt - my first try was wrong, wouldn't grip the arm but I almost couldn't get it off!

I know it's late in the game but it should be located on the suspension upright somewhere around the hub. I'm going to be seeking mine tomorrow as the reason I found this thread is because I am having these issues and will be hunting it down. Fortunately for me I was lucky and smart enough to buy a spare parts car if for no other reason than to parts check in order to buy news ones in some cases.

I have a 2005 VW touareg and i keep getting two dashboard error messages saying 'System fault workshop' and 'Brake assist workshop.'

Also the console for the 4 wheel drive is flashing also got diagnostic test which came up with fault code 02053 we reset but faults keep returning .

The pictures show the error messages.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just wondering if you got this sorted and what the problem was as I have the exact same thing thanks
