Installing a new start button on our T3. I have the console panel by the shifter out, but I cannot get the existing starter unplugged. I see the cord plugged in but cannot get it out. Is there a particular way to do this? I’m stopping short of using brute force

Figured it out! New button looks great…hopefully this one won’t peel.

I used a Cricut vinyl cutter and some paint protection film to cut a circle that is slightly smaller than the button. Can’t even tell it’s on there, and definitely won’t peel again.

I think the paint protection film is a great idea. Should help keep the oils/contaminants from causing peel.
