Hey everyone! Just picked up a 2011 3.0 TDI Touareg yesterday and it has a few issues. Newer to this platform and thought I was come here first.

Previous owner said if you turn on the heat the temp gauge will go all the way up and car will go in limp mode (but the car is not actually over heating) he said "heater mixer sensor". Not sure how to go about this. Also CEL for codes current (P242F00) (P027800) (P22A700) and temporary code (P040300). Car is running great may I add.

What is the coolant level in the reservoir? Was the system worked on and refilled?
Sounds like there's possibly an air bubble trapped in the system somewhere.

You need to get on that... you have issues to deal with.
Go into the first code and post all the freeze frame data.
