So I just had my brake pads and rotors replaced and the symbol keeps popping up on my display board..so the mechanic said that the reason the display keeps popping up is the connector that hold the sensor is loose... Someone help me here... Can that be replaced? And what is the estimate of this part.. I feel like my car is falling

A good mechanic should simply sort it - getting a good connection should not be that hard.

So you know what is involved, the sensors can be seen in this video at 21 minutes onwards.

Are you sure the sensors were actually replaced? The mechanic may have tried to save a buck here and re-use the old ones...

But if it is the connection, as Nooby said, it ought to be an easy and inexpensive fix for a competent mechanic.

This is great info...honestly everywhere I bring my car mechanics get all weary like they scared of the vehicle;( what. Headache.... U guys always give me good advice I just hope I get somewheres;( cuz I'm also being told by one person my passenger wheelbearings going n another place is like oh no it's ur struts/shocks...who the hell do I blv n OMG those struts are expensive;/ ughhhh

N I never did ask to see the old sensors to compare to my new sensors;( so no I'm not sure they were really replaced I did here him order them on the phone with the rest of the parts so I hope they did!!!
