Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has done the Kandanga-Imbil track lately?
(Track 3 in the Make Trax 4wd QLD Atlas)

Was thinking of doing it tomorrow, (along with my brother in his recently acquired treg).

It says avoid wet weather, and there has been a few mm last few days; so wasn't sure if that rules it out?

cheers

Yep, like 23mm yesterday on the Sunny Coast and more towards Gympie but the ground was so dry before that in general it won't have soaked in to make it seriously slippery. It'll probably depend on the tyres on the Tregs more than anything. John

Assume you have already been there done that Tony, I just got back a few days ago myself from camping after Xmas. The Kandanga-Imbil track can be closed (or made impassable) after rain by some creeks and rivers. Did it in the Audi Q5 3 years back. Cheers Paul.
