Hi Guys
I have just purchased a R50 and love it. I have a problem with the Sat Nav system or it may be the operator. The screen shows the red arrow about 300 KM off the coast of Sydney. Arrow seems to move but not in the right place. I did not get a CD with the car, is this the problem. I have been working my way through the RNS510 manual but any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks Steve. Checked ebay, cheap. Where is this located in the car? I am guessing this unit finds the satellites. Is there any way I can check in the car if it has found any satellites?

Hi Schootsie. I did a lot of looking before I purchased the car. Unfortunately they are getting old now and hard to find a good one at the right price. Mine is Biscay blue with 105,000 Km on the clock. I purchased it out of NSW but I live in Victoria. Is this "Bails" car?

Hi Hedditch. Pushed map button twice and found the Satellite list. 0 of 14 sats so I guess the Aerial is broken like Steve suggested. I have not heard back from Steve as yet. Do you think I should take the punt and buy the new aerial or is there more I can check.

thanks Drag. Currently trying to buy the special keys to remove the sat nav to have a look. Dealer is not sure what I am talking about. Anyone have the part number for the keys? I think I may have to try a few dealers for the keys. At least I will find a good dealer for the future.
