Hi all,

I don't know if this is possible or not but I figured I'd ask...

I have an mk7 gti with kessy, and a T4 touareg with kessy. Them be some big keys in my pocket that never come out. I was wondering if it's possible to program one key on both or not.

Has anyone ever asked, or done this?

The dealer will probably have to do it and it would involve replacing one of the vehicle's ignition and door locks so that the key will fit both vehicles.

Doable, I suspect, but $$$$.

How would the key know which car you wanted to open when both cars are within range??????

It won't work. The point of kessy systems are to have an encrypted code generated everytime they are used and also unlocks the immobilized mechanisms. You can only match a key to a single vehicle.

Yeah, I didn't exactly have my hopes up. Stealership just confirmed your statement.
