Is it possible to run my Ross-Tech HEX-USB+CAN VCDS (Vag-Com) on the 6th gen iPad as it would a be far more manageable package to carry when travelling.
If so, obviously I would also need an Apple Lightning to USB female connector as the iPad does not have a USB port, any suggestions on which one to get?

If you have the WiFi version, it will work with iOS.

Unfortunately, they do not support Mac computers. You must be running Windows. See their website for details.

Thanks for that, I suspected there might be a glitch in my thinking as I don't remember seeing anyone saying they use an iPad with the HEX-USB+CAN interface.


Guess I still need to carry my Toshiba PC around or find a wireless VCDS to buy or a smaller Win PC:frown2::frown2:.

A Windows ONLY product. I have to reboot my MacBook with Windows 7 every time I want to scan or diagnose my Touareg. And every time I do it I end up swearing at Windows all over again!

I run mine on Win10 Parallels, works perfect!
