Getting some odd codes, rough idle, checked the purge valve was closed on start up.
Anyone with any ideas would really appreciate them.

So replaced the gas cap and the purge valve, found the connector to the purge valve to give a variable voltage, got a replacement wired it in, found the power distribution jump positive terminal had corrosion cleaned that up to get full voltage to the purge valve terminal. Still getting the code. Smoked the intake had massive leaks from the intake upper plenum seals changed those. Smoked again, pouring smoke by the runner control arm, changed the seal on the intake runner control arm. Arm is broken and can not get a replacement. Still have to fix that. Still have the same code. One thing to note after all of that, after swapping out the gas cap, for one evening the idle was butter smooth. The next day back to rough idle. About to throw in the towel and pay a man to fix this 😂 unless someone has a better idea.

I did change the purge valve by the motor, I believe it’s referred to as an n80. But the n115 I am not familiar with.

I honestly was at a point where I was going to light this car on fire. After smoking the intake manifold multiple times, I was pretty frustrated tbh.

Wait a second.... so you removed a component that you had loaded up into the parts cannon, bench tested it, found it working, but went ahead and replaced it anyways, and are now surprised that it didn't fix anything?

Well, since you've replaced a working component, which didn't fix anything anyways, don't be surprised if you smoke another......

I smoked the lines going up to the purge, the only thing I have to figure out is how to plug the canister to test it properly, or check the fuel tank ring for any leaks.

What’s driving me nuts is this code in the service manual says it’s wiring related. But all the wiring is verified good now.

I used a multimeter to the connector, voltage is good. I checked the negative to the ecu as well that was good. I had to make repairs to the positive side.

I believe that hose goes to the engine bay where the part I replace is located behind the motor in between the firewall. I only went off that manual that I had.
