I've just bought a 2015 262 R-Line which comes fitted with the RNS850. I'm collecting the car in a couple of weeks and wanted to get all my music lined up and sorted before I collect the car. I was hoping someone who's used this system could give me a steer on playing MP3's via a USB stick.

My questions are:
- Is FAT32 the correct file system to format the USB stick to?
- Is there a limit to the USB memory size (128GB?) that can be used with this system?
- Can you select specific music Genres to playback? I'm not using an iPod.
- Does album art show up when using USB playback?

Any help much appreciated.

I use a USB stick (2012 TREG) in the RNS 850. I've been using a 16G stick.

I just copied from my pc (so must be FAT32). Where album art is copied, the RNS 850 shows. But, remember, the RNS 850 does not read all music files (MP3's are OK).

Using the AUX entry (for the USB), the RNS 850 starts from the 1st file of the 1st Alphabetical album. While you can play around with each of the files on the album (ie. skip, repeat, etc.) sadly, you can't sort via ALBUM.

Cheers
