My 2016 MY17 V6TDI RNS 850 - does not appear to display or read aloud received text messages, is this normal or can it be enabled some how. -- or am I missing some instructions in the user handbook - Thanks

Yes I guess I was expecting that my 2011 ford territory did that, I guess I was expecting more from VW.

The 7L RNS510 could with the (available at the time) top of the line BlueTooth module could replicate some of what you are asking. However, sadly, VW did not continue that development to the RNS850
