Can someone who has the top dash bin (near window) take a few measurements for me and maybe throw in some pictures/video?
1) I would like to know how tall the openening between the top of the lid (closest to driver) and the bottom of the bin is. In other words, if one were to place a navigation screen in there and it were facing you, what kind of realestate does it have.
2) Also, what is the width at the widest and narrowest points of the actual bin. I know there is a hinge system and such that makes it narrower but i might cut this area out to reveal the widest width the whole way through.
3) How does the door open? it looks like it moves straight up with more opening in front than back, rather than pivoting..
Finally what does the profile of the bin look like? I know it's deeper in the back than the front.
If you could take some pictures or even a you tube video with something of standard dimension like a credit card in different orientations, that would be of great help.
