What year is your Treg? You have no info about it in your profile. If it is an 04 you are at end of life for the sensors and they need to be replaced. They would be considered a wear item and not included in the warranty at all, so yes you need to pay for them yourself.

It really is going to be dealer dependant on how they handle it, but I am guessing you will not get them covered. Would be cheaper for you to turn the system completely off since you do in fact have an 04 and it was not a mandated option in that year. There is a full write up on that in the DIY section of the forums. If they do not cover it, personally would go that route. I turned it off on my 04 and never missed it ever again.
