Hope someone can give me some insight. I bought a fully loaded 7P Touareg from a main dealer in November, there was an intermittent ACC fault of "no sensor view" and finally "ACC unavailable".

First time it went back they did a recalibration where the fix lasted about 3 days. Second time they replaced the ACC mounting bracket however the front assist is now coming on in dry weather to oncoming traffic and eventually "no sensor view" again.

I took it to another dealer who tells me the drivers side sensor is in the wrong position and the car may have had a knock in the past.

Drivers side (I'm in the UK)

Clear to see the drivers side is not central in the surround and what theory is that after some bumpy roads and or certain traffic conditions the sensor cannot fully pick up what's infront of it so throws a fault.

Could someone with ACC post a photos of their sensor position for comparison so I can forward it to the dealer?

Thank you.
