Sorry if this is the wrong forum (I hope a mod will mod will move it into the correct one)

I have a 4-day conference in Las Vegas and I have about 4-5 days to get there from Dallas.
I was hoping to get some recommendation for "light" offroading in the National Parks/Monuments in Utah or Colorado on my way to Vegas.
I have a stock T2 V8 with air suspension, no support/buddy vehicle. I don't camp, so I am looking for half-day/full day offroad trails that are doable with my setup.
Anybody here has any suggestions or knows good websites to do that?
I know there are many offroad trails in the Moab area. I was also thinking about driving the dirt roads in Canyonland NP.

No specific recommendations, just a note saying that I took the '10 to an offroad "intro" course last weekend, and what I thought was going to be a beginner course went straight into some pretty gnarly stuff. The t'reg was outstanding, and impressed the instructors who seemed pretty difficult to impress.

Don't get crazy now, but the reg will handle just about anything you want to throw at it.

Yeah. :/ Couldn't find a torn up set of 18's for offroad rubber in time, so I just went with it.

I would not recommend 20's, mainly cuz you can't air-down enough without pushing the tire off the rim. Airing down helps with grip, but also softens the ride (esp on washboards) to prevent vibrating your fillings out. But also having a full-sized spare onboard is a really good idea for a number of reasons.

Remember that the t-reg has onboard-air (if you've got the air suspension) - so airing down is easy when you can just air back up again.

Thanks for the encouragement.
I will bring an extra mounted tire (besides the spare) and some tools with me. I just had the 40k maintenance and the tires are just 5000 miles old.
The first thing I did when I got my T2 was to downgrade from the stock 19" rims with summer performance tires to 18" rims with the Michelin ATX LT2.

In terms of area to explore I have not decided between Moab versus Canyonlands NP versus Grand-Staircase Escalante NM. There are some slot canyons in GSE I would like to see. I also like the area around Factory Butte.
