Had this issue. after some head scratching, I found a bad earth in tailgate wiring. I ran a new ground from light earth wire to hatch catch bolt and issue resolved
Rear Wiper Intermittent, stopping randomly, Upper rear hatch catch buzzing in reverse, only 1 reverse light working
