I have had several electrical problems. Dead Battery, compass flickers, tire pressure monitor not working. Guess what the dealer tells me today??? THere is a wire that goes from the alternator, to the jumper terminal, to the starter (on the other side of the engine). In the 2 feet of wire from the alt to the jumper terminal, there is a 1.5 volt drop which is supposedly causing the electrical malfunctions throughout the car. The fix is to replace the entire wire, which he says takes all day to complete; and to get to wire is at least ONE WEEK!!!!!! He says I can't have the car back until they fix this wire. Anyone heard of this one????
