Sorry to bump an old thread, but I think I'm having this same issue on my 2011. I hear the child lock noise randomly. It doesn't go off rapidly like the OP though, just once every hour or so. I've taken it in a couple of times already and this last time they changed the door locks. Unfortunately, that did not help the issue.
The problem is my warranty ran out since the last visit where they replaced the locks. Will the repair fall under the warranty since it's the same issue?
