Rain leaks into drivers footwell (RH side)

My o8 V6 TDI has leaked from new. The more obvious leaky sunroof was fixed but ever since we have had rain water accumulating under driver's carpet.
VW have acknowledged the problem and have even re-fitted the windscreen due to a faulty weld etc but we are all at a loss to find out where the rain leaks in. They have also cleared and straightened the front drain pipes for the sunroof.
Anybody got experience or ideas? Other than this, it's a really nice car to drive.

That's for leaks into the left hand side of the car. This guy's car is right hand drive.

It would be good if this proves to be the fix but don't raise your hopes too much.

You say that your water is coimng in on the right hand side.

Blocked bulkhead drains let water in through the pollen filter on the left not the right.

You say your car has leaked from new.

Bulkhead drains get blocked by rotting leaves and other detritus, and it takes quite a time for that to happen.

Hi noobytoogy

If you look in the last section of post 9 in the link provided, you'll find that KNB removed water and debris from both sides of the bulkhead, and that the amount of debris clogging up the drains was surprisingly small.

Anyway - it would be fun to know if this was the problem. Easy fix, if it was indeed... if not... well, no harm done ;)

Having watched these problems for three years now, I don't think anyone has yet reported bulkhead water coming back inside the car so it will helpful if the original poster reports the solution to his problem!

Interestingly I read an article yesterday on Porsche Cayennes and some of those had blocked bulkhead drains from new as the drains had been pinched - during factory assembly - behind the wheelarch covers.
