On the new issue of VW driver gear magazine, (page 24) the Canyon wheels for sale say for V6 only. I thought the Canyon wheels would also fit V8 Treg. Im inquiring because i see a set of Canyon wheels/tires on ebay which i would like to bid on for spare set and i have a V8 Treg.

thanks for reply....wanted to make sure they fit and the notation on vw gear saying they were V6 only got me thinking.....

i dont have anything to swap....just looking for extra set of wheels for off road use......i have 18" wheels now, but dont want to bang them up off roading......

Hammer, the 17" wheels will fit on the V8 and vice versa. The 17"s won't fit on the V10 due to larger brake calipers.

Unless you find a killer deal on a set of 17" Canyons w/ tires, go get a set AT Italia wheels from tire rack. It would be MUCH cheaper in most cases.

since your touareg is an V8...go with the 18"
the bigger the rims the better the car looks...
