Dear friends

I have TDI Touareg 2006 with a phone preparation in the center console .. i went to VW dealer to buy a cradle to connect the Iphone but the one he showed me doesn't fit in the connection i have in the car ... what i have is 7L6035707K
FRONT CENTER ARMREST TELEPHONE RECEIVER BRACKET.
Can anybody advise what kind of cradle i need to be able to connect my Iphone. the car steering wheel is ready with buttons for phone.

so in a shortcut I need a cradle that fits the connection in the picture then i can buy the part for IPhone which VW dealer showed me.
if i can connect the Iphone anybody knows a good combination of cradle and mobile phone ?

I don't think there is a cradle for the iPhone.

However your car might have a bluetooth module installed to communicate with the cradle. You can test this by turning on the ignition (not starting the engine) and then check for bluetooth devices on your phone. You should see a VOLKSWAGEN UHV popping up.

The default setting for this bluetooth module is to connect to the cradle ONLY, so the moment you start the engine you'll lose the connection. That setting can be chanced using VAG-COM like this:

Enter into
Channel 133(BT)
BT activate/deactivate

Channel 134 (handsfree)
0 - Handsfree over BT -------- (change the 0 to 1 and you are done, save to try it out)
1 - Handsfree only with mobile in cradle "


After that, all you have to do, is pairing your phone with the VOLKSWAGEN UVH bluetooth module. The pin code is either 1234 or 0000. I always forget which one.
