This is common. I too continued having the p2015 even w/ the brackets. Did you do a re-learn of the throttle valves? If yes and still getting the error, it's probably something else busted. In my case, the EGR was hosed and the entire manifold (this, the throttle valve as well..) needed replaced.

I didn't re-learn of the throttle valves yet. Will read about it and try it. I'll also swap both actuators and see if code changes to bank2. I hope it's just that actuator is having some hiccups once in a while

Do a relearn first and foremost. If that doesn't work there is a possibility the motors are just shot (you can technically find just the motors online, but, Volkswagen commands changing teh entire manifold) and there is the possibility its not the motors at all, its something else in the emissions system.

From what I recall, you cannot swap actuators.. they are totally different motors

I had the same error on my car when it was under warranty. Brought it in to the dealer, and they changed the wrong intake manifold. I brought it back a week later when it threw the same code again and they replaced the other one. I never understood how they could have mixed up the banks and replaced the wrong manifold. Possible something is switched in the coding or wiring or they made a mistake? Just an FYI.

Anyway, I'm happy I got two new manifolds.

You know that's really funny because they replaced one and take manifold at first and then I continued having issues and they ended up replacing the other intake manifold... I wonder if they Did the same thing it made the same mistake but didn't tell me!
