Ok guys, after having many issues related to codes P0491 & P0492, having all the parts replaced involving these codes and spending $1k, I am now getting code P0441. My Touareg will not pass emissions, due to all this mess. The Tech seems to be "over it" with my car and frankly, so am I. I replaced the gas cap, as it was faulty, but there are still idling issues when stopped (rpm drops slightly every few seconds). Tech cleared the code, but I have a feeling it is going to come back up soon. I understand the most common cause for this code is the Purge Valve. If any of you have any info for me on how to replace this, diagrams, links to pictures/videos, I would LOVE it! We don't mind taking a stab at fixing it ourselves, as we have done a few thing with the Touareg ourselves, like replacing the blower motor, etc. I can't stand to spend any more money on Tech's who get pissy about my car.

Thanks for all the help!

You can try pulling the "N80" valve and test it using battery voltage. Start by reading this thread: http://www.clubtouareg.com/forums/f92/3-2-v6-location-evap-n80-160386.html

This is the N80 for the V8: http://www.clubtouareg.com/forums/f43/where-is-the-n80-valve-23359.html#post499050
And I think this grey/white thing is the N80 for the 3.2L in this picture taken by hammer_guy35:

You can look up the vacuum routing diagram in the engine compartment and find this valve on the firewall side of the engine.
