This is the second time that happens. I am getting "Oil Pressure Stop Engine" indication the first day after an oil change! Oil is according to the VW specifications.
The complete story goes like this:
I first saw this message 15.000km ago right after an oil change. I took the risk to drive back to the shop (after checking the oil level and continuously checking oil and water temperature on the panel). I asked to have some oil pumped out as it was exactly at max and i thought that this may have been the reason (but not more than maximum). I had the message coming back after a few days, went back to the shop and had an oil sensor changed. No problems for a couple of months but then it started appearing again occasionally. In total i have seen this message coming out about 10 times in (close to) 15.000km. All these times i took the risk to continue driving. I know that this was very risky but it would have been really frustrating to ask for assistance all this 10 times! Additionally all times the message is going away after a few seconds. Moreover, they have checked the oil pressure a couple of times and it was ok (with the car in the shop of course, not in real driving situations).
The last few months i was starting to forget all about it as it was not coming out, until today that i made a regular oil change and here it is again! Like the previous time, right after the oil change, with no obvious (to me) reason. Any ideas?
I have not seen the sensor they changed the other time but i have seen them accessing it underneath the car (engine compartment). Is it only one sensor that is related to oil pressure? Could they have been mistaken by changing the oil level sensor instead of the oil pressure sensor? (where is it?)
But again, why the problem (mostly) appears after an oil change?
