Good Morning
After a 1000+ mile drive, I noticed my oil level went down. The question for all you seasoned owners, where do you keep your oil level and how much is each tick mark represented on the RNS850. I have owned two VW diesels in the past that had actual dip sticks, but having an electronic one now gives me pause. Thanks in advance.

Mine has dropped from MAX, down by 2 divisions in 7,000 miles from new - I've just added 0.25 litre and it's back up to MAX.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the spread between "max" and "min" is 1 liter. So each tick would be 1/8th liter.

I would continue driving it and keep an eye on the oil consumption (if any). A single 1-tick change might not mean anything by itself.

I am keeping an eye. I have read that it does consume some oil in the first 10k. Just wondering what a tick is representative of. The gasser, I have read, was .25l, but the tdi holds more oil.
