I've been smelling fuel and burnt oil during and after driving.
Smoke sometimes wafts out of the drives wheel well after driving.

Looks like it's leaking from the driver's tandem pump looking thing.
What is it's purpose? (see picture).

Can this be repaired with the motor in?

The LHS unit is a fuel pump only with no vacuum section.
Could very easily be leaking fuel and oil

It can be replaced without engine removal but requires a fair bit of work by feel, removal of the fuel filters, swearing and the small dummy firewall section.
