Does the Kessy module itself work normally, aside from the Vag-Com not working?


I don't know what your soldering skill level is, but is there any possibility that you soldered two connections together when you did the work?

Door handles still intermittent push button to start works
Still having same symptoms as before.
Checked vag com in other car and it is working properly

 

Do you have clamp 15 plus working ( direct german translation - Batterie plus switched on when key is turned via relay under driver seat)?

 

Check fuses 7 and 51 on the left dash fuse panel. Realistically you should check all of them, but 7 and 51 are for the OBD port.

 

well I pulled the keesy module out for soldering new fets all back together and my vag-com does not light up
I did have the panel hanging down for a little bit but doubt any wires broke
Any ideas, anyone?

Did you get this fixed ?
I have 2005 Treg with No Com as well. replaced cluster with no change. Now looking to move onto the connection at the steering column where they all connect together

 

Was this issue ever fixed? I am dealing with the same situation I cannot get a connection with any module. However my obd2 reader does light up green

 

Brought it to a vw/Audi tech had it fixed in 1/2hr

A DLC has a few basic requirements in order to allow communication.
Once you confirm these are good, a diagnostic tool should be able to communicate with "something" in the vehicle.
Are you sure your tool is good?
