I have been reading posts regarding the problem of connecting mp3 players to the cd changer port. All the solutions I have read invlove touaregs with NAVI. I don't have NAVI. I have an '04 V6 monochromatic display.

There is a solution for the standard radio but as you say, it involves connecting the mp3 player to the CD changer port in the back of the radio. If you follow the link in my signature, you will see the device and how to install it.

I'm looking for an ipod adapter for my 04 V8 non-nav radio. The two models that seem to most common are Neo Ion and Dension icelink. Any experiences with either? Which would you recommend?

I haven't tried the Dennison, just the Neo and the Blitzsafe. I tried the NEO about 1 year ago in my V8. It didn't work well. Switched back to radio often by itself. I sell the Blitzsafe which I know works well and is a much less expensive solution.

And I have a non-nav radio with an IPOD using one of Spockcat's cables routed from the back of the radio to the base of one of the 'expresso-cup-holders'. Works just fine :clap:
