Hello everyone. My audio has just gone silent. Radio tuning not working, bluetooth connecting but no audio again. Media section says "please wait" as attached. I went on a vacation for 20 days and car stayed outside with around 40 degrees C during the day. When I return audio is gone. Can somebody help me with this before I take it to the repair shop? Thank you.

Is the engine starting up as normal? A low battery voltage can cause odd electrical faults. First thing I would do is charge the battery.

battery changed recently. everything other than this is normal. Speakers not working, and that is causing radio and media playing problem.

Battery changed isn't the same as battery charged especially after sitting idle for 3 weeks in the cold.

I would next check the amp in the trunk & its associated fuses. The system is modular so if one unit is faulty it prevents all from starting up. A fiber optic bypass loop can help with diagnosis as can a VCDS fault code scan.

Fixed. Faulty part was "5F CONTROL MODULE". They replaced it with a used one and programmed it. It works now.
