So, whilst dressing my tyre walls the other day I noticed that one has a large screw stuck in it (horizontally not vertically) and another has a jagged cut in it (probably a pothole). Probably time for a new set of tyres. I'm currently running 275/45/19's Continental 4X4 Sport Contact's. I have been recommended the Uniroyal Rainsport 3 SUV's. Has anyone had or have these fitted? I have done some researching and they seem a good tyre but the rate of wear seems an issue. I know that quality not price should be the deciding factor but I would like to set a maximum budget of £150 per tyre. Is there a better option? Thanks again in anticipation.

Hi,

I just got them fitted yesterday.

Without driving them when wet or when driving demanding they perform what I thought they would. A little bit more noise then with my winter tires (soft Scandinavian ones, Contiwiking contact).

Will revert when I got more info about them.
