Hey everyone, new to forum based in Perth WA . I’ve got a 2013 V6 TDI 180kw version Treg. Pretty stock standard. Looking to slowly upgrade for touring. Been searching gumtree for rims and tyres to suit 4wd on beach / off-road. Nothing too hard core but the standard 20in rims and tyres obviously no good for deflating. Any tips welcomed. Excited to be part of this forum. Cheers

Welcome.
Another Perth'ite. Wow, we seem to be taking over this place.
Consider looking at Eastern States as a source.
I picked up 5 x 19" Porsche Cayenne rims (2nd hand but excellent condition) for about $105 incl freight (Pre-Covid). Sourced them from AGR Tyres
They were excellent to deal with.
Once the rims arrived, I then sourced AT+ tyres locally here in Perth.

No worries, figured it was that. 19inch though still seems a bit big for the rims - does that allow enough side wall for the tyres - assume the overall diameter is the same as the current specs so it doesn’t throw out the speedo?
good question.
My OEM wheels are 21"...so moving down to 19s was a workable solution for me.
For you, 18" will most likely be the best solution.
