Hello Folks,

I haven't been on this page very much for quite a while. I've owned a 2004, 2005 and still have a 2006 T1. The T1 is at 181,000 miles and has been a reliability champion. It's a great vehicle. My son is now 16 and will be taking over the T1, which my wife has been driving for the last 12-years. Now, what to get the wife. After a year of some insane discussions... I asked if she would simply like another Touareg? She was actually quite excited about that proposition. So, we are now the proud owners of a new (to us) 2016 V6 Lux.

The T3 is in great condition and we got a great deal. It's the first vehicle..... IN A VERY LONG TIME..... that isn't white. This one is Flint Gray. Now it's time to hack on it with the VAGCom (I know.. VCDS) and get those awful front turn signal bulbs changed out with LED's. Taking suggestions on that last thing.

Hi Geoff,

good to hear from you. I drive the allroad, my wife has been driving the T1.

as for our newest acquisition, the brakes were done 14k miles ago and still have quite a bit of meat on them. But, when I’m ready… you know who I’m gonna call. 😎

Thanks Keith. It's been a couple of weeks now. It's really a nice ride. Wife still hasn't gotten used to all the added goodies in this one compared to the '06.
