Just got a 2012 Touareg VR6 2 weeks ago. Had been researching the right vehicle to balance the hours on the highway and towing for my company with off-road capabilities and adventuring on the weekends. Took the Treg to the Eastern Sierras and Owens Valley last week to test it out -- here she is next to Mono Lake where we camped for the night. Loving it!

Congrats on purchase! I hear the VR6's are very reliable engines.
Lassen Volcanic park, Mount & Lake Shasta, and Heart Lake are all great trips if you enjoying hiking. Mono Lake is on my list for this year. So much to see here!
