I don't know where you got your glass, but my same year, same spec car (minus R line) is on the original and there's no heated grid or anything in it. I am not aware of this having been an option here.

400hp is hopes and dreams without major, major changes.

Go hit a dyno to see what your malone 2 gave you.... I've seen others post very conservative results instead of what's being claimed on the site, etc., but they were in much warmer climates.

Stage II w/ all emissions intact is right around 275-285hp on the 225hp TDI
Irrelevant as he's got a 240 baseline and @TheChunknorris has dynoed his "similar' spec model with less than "claimed" results from what I recall..... which is why I'm asking if getting another dyno "validation" is possible.

So as I was saying..... the vendor's site claims 305hp.... if I was the one buying the tune, and I was paying for 305 but receiving 275 as per your statement, I'd be very upset. Maybe my expectations are too high.

What's the odo say and what did you pay? I was searching for that exact vehicle 2 years ago when I got mine, but I couldn't find any Rs worth buying.... they were all butchered.

Busted....... but, you don't have a DSG.
The OC8 will handle all kinds of power, so no need to worry about that.
Fueling is the single biggest issue when it comes to trying to extract power, specifically, the injectors, which are a limiting factor. Opinions vary, and all sorts of people speculate that chips\water-to-air ICs\unobtanium turbo guts\deletes will get you to approach the 400 mark, but I stick to my BS flag waiving until someone does it. (and before anyone starts dropping Bobby's name, I'm talking about Touareg not some other variant of the 3L TDI with stick transmission or other similar setup)

Just under 20k$ with all recent maintenance done (fresh wax, extra 2in winter tire, brakes all 4 corners, new windshield, new fogs, ...). I add the mats (320$), tune (900$ish), mudgards, start button and few bits and pieces. BUT (and it is a big butt), it has 202k km. Not warranty...
Solid deal..... when was it fixed?

Here we go again.
Please justify the above with something. Show me the Bosch specs for the injectors for example. I distinctly recall them actually listing how much hp output the injector can support, but maybe they got it wrong.

Onto your hybrid BS turbo... when will this unicorn spool in order to have flow capacity to "easily surpass" the OC8 limits? Or are we talking about the o-so-desirable high output setup which will have a powerband from 3k+ rpm?

You can also call any dealer and get them to run your VIN... they will give you the date & milage of when it was done.

Nope....

Extended Emissions Warranty Coverage Warranty Period
The warranty period for the “Extended Emissions Warranty” is the greater of:
 10 years or 193,000 km, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s original in- service date;
OR
 4 years or 77,000 km, whichever occurs first, from the date and mileage of the completion of the emissions repair.

I don't understand why you would assume, when it's only a phone call to find out, and it can result in many things being covered IF need be. Are you aware of all the coverages which you are assuming you're out of?

Theoretically, I guess it doesn't matter since you've already "chipped" it, so all is now void.

Depends on your dealer.... I would suggest that if you do need to attempt to take advantage of the extended warranty, you do re-flash back to OEM and cross your fingers. Very few dealers (and people in general these days) actually know what they are doing or dig into things. If someone who knows investigates, they will see the number of re-flashes on the ECU, but there's a good chance that no one would check unless they were given a reason to.

Wrong chart bud.. that looks like your baseline before the tune. Did you ever investigate why your results were not as advertised?

I'd like to wave the BS flag again, on everything and everyone as to not offend anyone specifically.

IMO, if you want to compare anything between two setups, STFU and post similar comparisons.... VCDS logs, dyno runs, 1420' slips, etc. We have 12 different people claiming various improvements or shortcomings of different mods, but zero actual DATA.

P.S. YouTube vids or flaky 0-60 runs timed by a passenger don't count as data.

Just sayin

I believe in being realistic, and as such, I will say the following. (IMO and I'm sure dreamers and keyboard tuners will not agree)

Adding another 100hp requires A LOT including a bottom end killing snail upgrade, and you are still faced with the unavoidable hurdle of maxing out the fuel system. Do your homework and know exactly what you're getting into in order to avoid disappointment, as you won't be happy after spending $5k+ to not even get there.
