I just purchased a used V10 and am looking forward to learning all about it
Ive dug around a bit on this forum and dont see much info about anyone using water/methanol injection.... just wondering why.

what percentage of you are TDI guys?

how many of the TDI owners use alternative fuels?

I can't speak for anyone, but there are quite a few TDIer's on here.

I don't use alternative fuels, I would use Bio Diesel if it were available where I lived. The only thing I put in my tank is 2 stroke oil (if that), and Howes Diesel Treat during the winter...

I've found that www.tdiclub.com has more "diesel" related topics as well.

Welcome. There are a bunch of V10s; plus V6TDI guys and gals around here. The best place for info on your Touareg. As for fuel... I've put B5 and reg. diesel but given the precise nature of modern consumer diesels, I would stick to the non-veggie/fat diesel. My V10 has very little in common with my 1979 Peugeot 504 diesel. the Pug could run on just about anything and be fixed with a hammer; the Treg get treated like a King and requires a laptop. Don't know much about conversions but I'll leave the B100 to the Mercedes W123.
