New Engine?

A dealer told me part of the reason the base price went up on the V8 was due to a modified engine that was being installed in the new touaregs. I've heard this from a friend too, but I have yet to see any evidence that this is the case. Anyone have information on whether or not this is true, and if so, what the difference in the engine is?

Do you still have your chip tuned V10. If you do see the tread I started a few days ago about now getting engine number 3 with still only 80000 km on the odometer,
