I just bought a 2004 V8 Silver/Teak Touareg...my first ever, and am super excited because it drives like a dream...My only issue is that there is some wear and tear on the buttons on teh steering wheel..ie, volume controls, they are peeling, and I want to get them replaced ASAP before I have detailed because I don't want the shop to make it worse...
Any ideas where I should go in south florida to get this done? I have checked with a detail shop and they said the manufacturer, but wanted to check here first, since I have been on here for the last week looking around, and everyone seems so much more knowledgeable and helpful than a shop...

Thanks,
Lisa

x2

And replace AFTER the detailing.

Avoid ordering parts from the stealership if you can. There are plenty of sites out there that offer OEM parts at a significant discount.

Even though they are through a dealer, I have used 1stvwparts.com without complaints. Although you're in the SE, may want to find somewhere a little closer as they are located in Washington state.

Yes, indeedy.

Pressing a button usually does switch things on or off!!
