I currently have a headlight out on my driver side of my 2006 to touareg v8. My brights and turn signal work but not my daytime running lights or regular light. Already replace the buld. Still not working....what could it be?

I checked them all. Do you think it could be the balast?

Assuming you have bi-Xenon

-Fuse
-Wiring harness
-Bad connection at connector

There are a number of threads that address light out issues.

To test that take the assembly out and plug into the other side. You can lift the connector up and pull out enough to test the other side's light.

So plug the left light and plug it into the right?

Yes.

Remove the driver side assembly.
Pull out the passenger light and put it to the side.
Lift the connector and pull it forward a few inches.
You should then be able to plug in the drivers side assembly and turn it on to see if it works.

I'll give it a shot. Except my buddy just pulled me hood release right of the cable. Now I need to find out how to get my hood open.
