Hello folks,

I also have the same error code on my 2006 Touareg with bi xenon. The cornering light are working. The only strange thing I have discovered is that the driving lights are far too low. They are only lighting up 15-20 meters in front of the car.. Could it be that the automatic height leveling system is out of order and that the afs fault message tells this??

Hello folks. I have finally managed to repair this fault. The cause was a bad afs steering box. Its one for each side. After exchanging the box for the right side that was broken the lights work fine.
