...................just throws up so many emotional moments.

Spoke to a client today. Wanted to insure his 1963 Studebaker Lark to be driven on the road (no longer in restoration mode). The back story is this:
Car was bought by his grandfather in 1963. Years later, grandfather sold it, and often bemoaned his decision to sell it, usually during family dinners etc.

The client, found the car 5 years ago, secreted it away in a lock up garage, and began to restore it.

Car is now on the road, on Concessional Registration (Club Plate). The client has told his grandfather to be ready for a special surprise on Sunday. Sunday is the client's grandfather's 100th birthday. He is getting picked up in the Studebaker, and old mate has absolutely no idea what's going on.

I hope they have an ambulance on standby. And yes, I shed a tear.
Love my job.
