I have an '04 V8 with NAV and I was wondering what is the best MP3 adapter to get for this model. I have seen ones that come out of the passenger side cargo area and some that come out the 12v lighter. I have also seen some that you have to install it into your NAV or whatever. I really want to be able to listen to my music on my MP3 player so any info would be great! If there is someone who has done this to there Touareg then I would like to know what you did! Also I have a ZUNE and NOT an IPOD!

Not too long ago I installed a OEM nav system and followed that with a connection kit for my Zune as well. Since the navi units include a multi input plug in the back I went that way. Forum member Spockat has exactly what you need for $25-30 depending on wire length and plug configuration. No fuss installation because the plug is OEM fit. The other end can be either a 3.5mm female or a molded in 3.5mm male. I went the female route 
......so I could mount the plug in the side of the cup holder tray. A short patch cord from RadioShack and presto......music. I could have done the iPod connection since I have one but I also have other devices (Zune 30gb, Zune HD and handheld XM radio) that all have the 3.5mm.
