Here's my first off road outing in the Touareg last year, just wanted to share!
Long Canyon, Moab.
The 19" Yokahama Geolander's did pretty well, but I am picking up some 17" Makalu's tomorrow, with same tire.

Nice! Did you air down at all? I have 255/55/19's and i'm trying to figure the best balance of airing down and maximizing sidewall.

Yokahama Geolander G015, 255/55/r19.
Traction was pretty great, this canyon was just the beginning of my Moab off-roading that week, and even though things got a little hairy, the tires held up very well. I'm even more excited to throw the 17"s on with the same tire and see the difference.

How about some more pictures and how did the system work and which Touareg did you get?
Sorry so many questions, I just bought a 2010 with air Suspention but haven't had it off road yet. The 2004 V6 had did great many years ago.
