I change the settings in my MFI regarding door locks, tailgate unlocking, footwell lights, mirrors and such and every once in a while the settings reset to default having to change to the way I want it again.
Seat memory is not affected and car battery is good.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and possible cause?

I would double check the fuse. Not sure if it's different the 2005 but on my 2008 the fuse for the cluster is on the side of the dash on the driver side. Just check your owners manual, it will have it in there. I would make sure there isn't a short or something there. Or maybe it's loose.
