Cool...

So I'm the first from the UK to register! I have a UK V6 Sport in Off-road Grey with Crysal Grey leather interior.

Toys include SatNav, 12-way memory seats with heat, Xenons and parking aids.

Not many of us Treg owners in the UK, but would be good to hear from more.

Number 2 in the UK and the 1st Tdi

Hi there,
how are ya?
I have the 2.5Tdi (V10 was just that little bit too pricey)
Great car but post delivery problems.....

Specs pretty good, leather, parking, 6*cd, xenons, Chrome and Dark
grey paint - looks good.....

Best "goody" I have seen is a small blue LED torch on EBAY that fits into the 12v power outlet on the middle console -

You enjoying yours?
Cheers

Hello,

I have a Touareg R5 2.5 Tdi on order.
Was a bit sceptic about the engine, since the car is mostly sold with the
V10 or V8 under the hood. Did a testdrive with it and found it to have
less power than my current car (BMW 530D), but that's comparing
apples with oranges.
I hope I made the right decision and that it is a fun car to drive in!
Did not have enough Euros to get the leather interiour, nor navigation system. Never saw the interior with "plain" non-leather seats...
Chose black exterior with chrome finishing and the 300W radio to mask
the noise of the engine (if any) :)

I wish VW would bring the 2.5 TDI to the US. While the V10 sounds nice, it is quite expensive. I think the 2.5 TDI would do nicely. My wife owns a Jetta with the 1.9 TDI and we LOVE it!

Has anyone with a TDI done any towing yet?

Cheers!

If you need more power and torque, have it chip tuned at your VW dealer with the VW original chip tuning. I did this with my previous car and loved it. All warranty stays as it is, as VW did the tuning.

Just thought I'd update my original post to say that I'm swapping my original 3.2 petrol V6 for a brand-new 3.0 V6 TDi on Friday. Had some problems with the 3.2 so struck a deal with VW to change over. Looking forward to the extra torque and mpg ;)

Anyone else had the chance to compare a 3.2 petrol and 3.0 diesel?

Yeah, I want to hear about people's experiences with the V6TDI too?

I wish VW would bring that engine here to the U.S.
