Just wondering if it's normal for the timing chain to rattle only when the treg has been sitting for 30 minutes to a few hours. It does not do it on cold startup, only when the engine is semi-warm.
I picked up a 2013 Touareg a couple of months ago, I tested the cold start timing chain and no problems. However last month I noticed the distinct timing chain rattle on lukewarm starts only - Is this an issue? Does this happen for anyone else's?
I couldn't find anything regarding this on the forums. Thanks for your help!
