Oh yeah I have patience lol I'm also looking for a touareg x so I have a ton of patience...

Touareg X is nothing special and I think they only did it in the year 2014. The three different unicorns of the Touaregs in my opinion are 2008 V10 TDi, 2010 Lux Limited TDi with Dynaudio and Air Suspension, and the 2016 TDi Executive trim.

I used to own the 2010 and also owned 2015 Hybrid which came fully equipped more than executive trim and 2015 was last year of hybrid with the updated lights and all.

Sold my 2013 Audi S8 last year and went to a 2017 BMW X5 Diesel that is fully loaded with Dynamic Handling Package, M Sport Package, Bang & Olufsen Audio, the whole 9 yards. And I get about 720 miles per tank.

Freaking love it and I’m done hunting for Touaregs after owning two very nicely equipped ones.

If I went for one again, it would be a 2008 V10 TDi just for purposes of nostalgia and park it in garage and never sell it. But I’d want the blue R50 European version. A few years ago a 2008 V10 TDi that was white with basketball leather interior sold and it was 100% factory fully loaded and goodness it was truly the unicorn.

What’s even more sad is we didn’t get the new Touaregs starting from 2018. Imagine if we still got those, and still had diesel, and they gave us the V8 diesel option.

Also if you want to take your search a step further like I have in the past but had little luck with…try searching for a 2014-16 Porsche Cayenne Diesel but with all the options AND air suspension. It’s out there but rare.

The Touaregs from 2011-17 here in USA never came with air suspension so one way to circumvent this is to opt for the Cayenne Diesel which is still a Touareg at heart and has the exact same motor. Plus the older years of Cayenne I think like 2012-13 or newer could be found with ventilated seats but seriously good luck finding a fully loaded one with premium audio and air suspension which is known as PASM for Porsche brand.

I am trying to find a dream car of mine that I have wanted ever since I first saw it.
2008 Touareg 2 V10 TDI in running condition. Ideally with the Red color or black for exterior and anything other than the beige for interior. But as they are Unicorns I would take what I could get.

A 2007 just hit Cargurus over in Novi, MI. No full details on it yet.

Still gotta hold out for a proper 2008. No luck on Facebook?

Yeah... I wish I was in the position to own a V10, but I lack a garage, tools, and the experience to work on one. Hence why I went with a stop-saled 2016 TDI with powertrain and Dieselgate warranties till 2029.

Smart!! What kind did you get? Executive?

How do you like it so far? I drive a 2017 BMW X5 35d and have been loving it.

Don’t know that I could go back to super old interior tech of the 2016 Touareg technology stuff but they are still high quality heavy tanks and I love when I see them on the road.

Hey JDogwin my old r50 replica, Alaska Grey is back on the road. The guy who owns it now would consider selling it for 30k usd

2008 Alaska Grey V10 w/ r50 kit. Anthracite interior. Rns510 upgrade. Bluetooth upgrade oem, the only negatives would be the r50 wheels aren't included, comes with rinspeed replicas and it has a rebuilt title. Driver's side front had sustained some damage. Our local insurance agency decided not to repair it. The damage wasn't bad and all photos are documented.

Recent work (one month ago) motor was out to do the power steering line and pump due to a leaking return line. At that time both tandem pump seals were done, o2 sensors, and remainder of dpf items removed. Has a Malone tune.

See below photo of the truck yesterday as well as 2 photos of the damage from the accident it was in. Driver's side airbag, and a few of the seatbelts locked up and we're replaced.

Big bonus we're in Vancouver Canada so easy for you to come see it in person.

For most of the mods done to the car look up my name I owned it from 2009-2014.

Is he selling it with the damage still there? This is truly a rare beauty but I think the price will be a bit too high for some to swallow. So now it's a 2 owner vehicle?

Current mileage

I love the photos and this is quite what I'd love to buy but I'd have to fish around for a bank to loan me the money. I don't know what bank today will finance an older vehicle like this today so it would have to be a cash buyer. Secondly, if the R50 wheels don't come with it, that's sort of the whole R50 look on these Touaregs. I looked up the Rinspeed Replicas and they aren't nice at all or not my flavor.

Plus it's DPF deleted so it would fail on emissions here in my state of Virginia unless I get it registered in one of the counties a bit further away from me but I'd have to figure out how to do this.

Lastly, you are all the way in Vancouver so shipping would cost me a bit too. Some buyer will snatch this up for sure. It's a beauty that I'd love to buy and just put in my garage as a collectible and just drive it whenever I feel like.

Not pricey considering there are less than 100 of these in North America. I have a 2008 V10 in like new condition, with all available options, RNS 510 upgrade, remote parking heater, tuned to 400hp, deletes, no codes, no leaks, no issues. I wouldnt sell it for less than 40k considering its rarity and condition. Its value will continue to go up.
